Mama Margaret never had her dream wedding, and the girls are going to fix that.
Leanne and Carol pull out all the stops to throw a backyard wedding for their parents, complete with a reluctant Daddy John, a funeral director–turned–florist, and a charcuterie board panic. Josie and Tyler are roped into being flower girl and ring bearer, and the whole thing teeters on chaos until Daddy John finally sees Mama Margaret in her gown and melts.
It’s an episode full of surprises: Bill’s hog butter BBQ, Mary’s Diana roses, and Carol slowly accepting that Dylan might not be her forever. The final moment, with Carol crying over possibly having to sell her car, lands with unexpected emotion.
For all its madcap energy, this one is about honoring the people who raised you, even if they still yell over each other at every meal.
