The third episode shifts gears and goes for something lighter, which works in some moments but feels a little disconnected from the series’ usual tone.
This time, we meet Basha, a young War Dog who stumbles into a chaotic mission involving the Iron Fist. Yes, that Iron Fist. It’s fun to see K’un-Lun referenced again, and the fight choreography really shines when Jorani channels her chi and clears a room like it’s nothing.
The comedic tone adds levity, but Basha’s mistakes make the Wakandans look unusually careless. The stakes never feel as sharp, and the whole episode feels a bit like a side quest. That said, Jorani is awesome, and the mashup of mystical martial arts and vibranium lore is totally entertaining.
It might not carry the emotional depth of the other stories, but it’s still a wild ride worth taking. Plus, it adds variety to the series and keeps things playful.
