Twisted Metal – Season 2, Episode 4: “LZGTBZY”

We’ve officially entered the prep zone for the tournament, and Diesel City is exactly what you’d expect from a place with that name. It’s equal parts black market, demolition derby, and cosplay convention gone wrong. You trade gas for coins, weapons are sold in flea market booths, and somehow Sweet Tooth finds a Dracula cape that becomes his new obsession.

Sweet Tooth and Stu have their own little buddy comedy going, and it’s weirdly charming. Stu gets kidnapped, but Tooth is too busy spinning in his cape to notice. Their scenes are always twisted, but there’s something weirdly sweet about how much Sweet Tooth wants Stu to become a proper mass-murderer.

Meanwhile, John and Quiet infiltrate the Emperor’s vault by pretending to be celebrities from other cities. They dress up, flirt with danger, and then accidentally burn down the vault during a makeout session. It’s so ridiculous, but it works. When this show leans into its over-the-top tone, it’s unstoppable.

Dollface and Sweet Tooth finally meet and immediately clash over an EMP weapon. Their chemistry is explosive, and their fight is another highlight in an already jam-packed episode.

This one has everything. Explosions, sex jokes, betrayals, and a fire escape that leaves our heroes nearly naked and completely ready for war.
