Now we’re cooking with full-on supernatural conspiracy.
Episode 4 kicks into high gear with the arrival of Grandmama (played with delightful sharpness by Joanna Lumley) and the return of Uncle Fester. This episode is packed with Addams family goodness, but it also delivers the biggest reveals of the season so far.
Wednesday uncovers the real meaning behind “Lois.” It’s not a person. It’s a long-term integration program meant to secretly imprison Outcasts. She finds an entire underground lab filled with presumed-dead patients being experimented on. The twist? The Avian who has been stalking her this whole time is Judi, the receptionist from Willow Hill and the daughter of the disgraced Dr. Stonehurst.
Everything unravels beautifully. Fester blasts the power, the inmates riot, and Marilyn tries to manipulate her way out only to be attacked by Hyde-Tyler in a genuinely brutal sequence. Whether she’s actually dead remains to be seen, but that was a major moment.
And then there’s the most emotional twist of all. Wednesday meets a silent, powerful Outcast woman in one of the cells and clearly feels a connection. Could this be her missing Aunt Ophelia? The signs are there, and the moment lands with weight.
Oh, and did I mention Wednesday gets thrown out a window? Yeah. That happened.
An explosive midseason finale that raises every single stake and leaves us desperate for part two.
